Pochtamtskaya Street Apartment

In a space of 100 square meters, with only four windows for the entire apartment, the customers wanted to place a reception area - an entrance hall with a guest bathroom, a kitchen, a dining room and a living room; a bedroom with all the attributes of modern housing - a dressing room and a bathroom; as well as two private offices.

We fought against the lack of space and light on all "fronts". First of all, we removed useless corridors and made an open layout. For better insolation, the window openings were increased to the floor, thus obtaining "French windows" - this change, of course, was agreed upon by the relevant authorities. To illuminate the rooms located in the dark part of the apartment, we used the technique of "internal windows" - glass partitions separating the living room from the bedroom, one office from another. All service premises - a dressing room, a bathroom and a laundry room - are located in a private area adjacent to the bedroom.

In the design of the apartment, the owners - young, successful people - gave preference to modern trends. The fashionable style of the loft was supported by barn-type doors, beams on the walls and ceiling, technical light, and a bed made of wooden pallets. Other elements of the industrial style are a laconic kitchen with a breakfast bar and a dining room located in a niche and separated by wooden slats. Completing the interior of the apartment are tall bookshelves covering the entire wall in the living room and offices, reflecting the values of a young couple.
