Barmaleyeva Street Apartment

The architects and designers of our studio dressed the apartment “forever” in timeless wood and concrete.
The customers, a married couple, turned to us with a laconic task - a modern interior that will be relevant for many years to come, not only for the owners of the apartments, but also for their two children.

Our answer turned out to be just as concise: on an area of ​​155 m², we created a neutral base with wooden textures and a calm gray color and diluted it with bright details.

“Functionally, we were faced with the task of planning two children's rooms, a master bedroom, an office and a common space of a living room-kitchen-dining room,” says Mikhail Zhilin, co-founder of the studio and project manager.

Designers filled the space of the living room-kitchen-dining room with white color, creating a feeling of spaciousness. Warm wooden panels soften the cold tone: the fronts of kitchen cabinets “mirror” a practical shelving unit with a TV area. Even fragments of concrete walls add coziness to the space: the gray textures of the walls echo the upholstered furniture, carpet and textiles on the windows.

The bed in the master bedroom is custom made by Tim Factory; bed linen, "Morфеus"; plaid and pillows from the interior salon “Items”; textiles on the windows, Artes Decor salon; hand-painted wallpaper, Fresq; author's candlesticks, "Бисквит".

A little more warm shades appear in the study, bathrooms and boy and girl rooms. But even in the latter, the authors of the project do not flirt with childish images: if pink, then pastel, if there is a hint of a play wall, then in the form of a “serious” rack with modular bases for shelves.

The table and shelving in the boy's nursery are custom made by Tim Factory; chair, Ethnicraft; decor, salon “Предметы”.

“For me, all the components of a successful interior are important: this is a competent layout, a pleasant combination of colors in the interior, and a well-thought-out engineering network management system,” Mikhail admits. “All of these are inseparable elements of the overall result.” And that is why the interior will really serve the owners for many years.
